As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the billing and accounting departments, with a strong focus on auditing, payment reconciliation, and financial oversight. This role is essential to ensuring accuracy in accounts receivable and payable processes, and involves reviewing financial documentation, auditing monthly statements, and coordinating financing agreements.

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and reconcile accounts receivable and payable activities.
  • Audit and review all monthly statements from wholesalers for accuracy.
  • Audit and approve financing agreements and coordinate payouts to wholesalers.
  • Process and organize incoming invoices.
  • Confirm and schedule payment amounts to carriers and vendors.
  • Verify accounts and endorsements are funded.
  • Track return premiums and pending cancellations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Review and improve internal workflows and processes related to invoicing and finance operations.
  • Support and back up other accounting functions as needed.
  • Perform general administrative tasks related to financial operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial procedures.

  • Insurance knowledge preferred
  • Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Possess an ambitious nature with attention to detail
  • Team player with multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office skills and related computer knowledge
