Immediate Start!! Facilities Coordinator - South San Francisco, CA (Contract)
Under the supervision of the Sr. Program Manager of Facilities, the Facilities Coordinator is charged with supporting the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, programs and workplace services delivery that provides a well-managed work environment and well-maintained building.
Responsibilities:
- Manage vendors that support facilities maintenance and workplace services including but not limited to: building maintenance contractors, janitorial staff, and food and snack vendors
- Perform daily-rounds and work closely with on-site operations teams to ensure office and lab uptime
- Manage and monitor service request ticket queue on ServiceNow
- Provide project management support for small projects related to facilities, safety, security, and workplace
- Support move activities at the site(s) as needed
- Support workplace events set-up and clean-up
- Be an on-site first responder to security and safety related issues and incidents
- Communicate with team members, colleagues, and vendors frequently and effectively
- Be prepared to communicate with all levels of management within the business
- Continually look at ways to add innovation and process improvement
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities, Construction, Business, or related field
- 1+ years of facilities, workplace, or real estate management
- 1+ years of real estate, facilities, or construction management experience
- Experience delivering outstanding customer service
- Able to problem solve with little to no direction
- Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms
