Job Description


The Senior Salesforce Administrator is leading the ongoing development, maintenance, and optimization of our Salesforce platform. This role is critical in aligning system functionality with business goals and driving continuous improvements across sales, marketing, and business development teams.

Role and Responsibilities


  • Lead the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of our Salesforce instance, including the creation and refinement of custom objects, fields, flows, validation rules, and user roles.
  • Manage daily administrative tasks and support requests, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional user experience.
  • Own the execution of system audits, data integrity checks, and platform upgrades, including Salesforce release management and analysis of Optimizer reports.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in evaluating, scoping, and delivering new development initiatives to enhance CRM functionality and align with evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies and implement scalable, system-based solutions.
  • Maintain and evolve internal documentation, training materials, and best practice guidelines for Salesforce usage.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance for new features and integrations, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to ensure ongoing system optimization.
  • Regularly perform process analysis and recommend improvements to maximize operational efficiency.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with a focus on Sales Cloud
  • Proven experience supporting sales/revenue operations, marketing, or business development teams
  • Prior experience in a CRO (Contract Research Organization) or a similar regulated environment is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including the ability to design and implement custom solutions using advanced configuration (flows, approval processes, formula fields, etc.).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce best practices, data governance, and security standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to diagnose system issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Experience with MCAE (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement / Pardot) is a strong advantage.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Fluent in English
