IT Systems Administrator

What you'll be doing:

In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support across our organization, managing our hybrid IT environment and ensuring smooth operations for both internal teams and client sites. You will be responsible for maintaining our technology infrastructure, administering cloud services, and supporting security and compliance requirements in our regulated healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Desktop & Client Support
  • Deliver front line desktop support for a combination of Windows and Mac workstations
  • Document and remediate technology environments in new client sites
  • Maintain inventory of technology assets and technical documentation in support of audit and regulatory reviews
  • Support business technology operations onsite at the Cambridge, MA headquarters
  • Cloud & Identity Management
  • Maintain and enhance Microsoft365 services (SharePoint, Intune, OneDrive, Outlook)
  • Maintain and enhance Google Workspace services (Gmail, Meet, Drive, Cloud Identity)
  • Maintain and enhance Okta identity services
  • Experience with troubleshooting and deploying applications leveraging Single Sign On protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM)
  • Systems Administration
  • Administer storage infrastructure such as file shares, SaaS platforms and on-premise storage appliances
  • Manage MDM platforms for iOS, Android, Mac & PC platforms
  • Collaborate cross functionally as needed to support line of business applications, maintain infrastructure, and document SOPs needed by the business
  • Occasional after-hours work may be required along with on-call rotation

Required skills:


  • 3+ years working in a Hybrid Cloud, Windows and Mac environment
  • Deep understanding of fundamental networking and enterprise technologies like DNS, SSL, TCP/IP networking, security best practices, disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Familiarity with AWS services and design concepts
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience supporting regulated technology environments

Preferred skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in an MSP environment
  • Azure administration experience
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, working in FDA regulated environments, biotech or clinical experience
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodologies
  • Experience in healthcare technology settings
