Senior Recruiter


The Sr. Recruiter for Filson and Shinola will lead our talent acquisition efforts for corporate and manufacturing roles for both Filson and Shinola and assist with retail roles during peak season. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across various functions.  This role requires strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work across various time zones and the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  


  • End to End Recruitment: Manage the full lifecycle of recruitment for corporate functions including finance, marketing, HR, creative, IT, manufacturing, sourcing, merchandising, and some executive roles.
  • Talent Sourcing and Outreach: Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
  • Interview scheduling: Schedule candidate and manager interviews through the applicant tracking system.
  • Candidate Screening and Selection: Review resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates to ensure a strong cultural and skill fit. Collect feedback from hiring managers and help them come to conclusion on the best candidate.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs, define job requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Employer Branding: Promote the company’s employer brand to attract top talent and enhance the company’s reputation in the job market.
  • Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate applicant tracking records, produce recruitment metrics and reports, and analyze data to improve recruiting processes.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from application to onboarding.
  • Market Research and Benchmarking: Stay current with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Recruitment Operations: Maintain applicant tracking system, in partnership with the HRBP team, ensure candidates are set up for onboarding once they are hired.
  • Vendor Management: Work with vendors such as LinkedIn, Greenhouse, and external recruitment firms to ensure tools and services offered are meeting expectations. Work with VP of HR to negotiate contracts.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION 


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of recruiting experience; preferably with corporate roles in a retail environment.
  • Proven ability to recruit for wide range of roles and seniority levels.
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools such as LinkedIn.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work EST and PST time zones when needed.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Prior experience managing recruitment operations, including ATS configuration, vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Prior experience managing external recruitment firms and agencies.
