Coder is hiring a Product Manager to help us methodically define customer problems and work directly with engineering to validate in-product feature enhancements. In our work environment, there will be little abstraction between you, our community, and our technical decision-makers.
What you’ll do here
- Research and define customer problems via customer calls, support tickets, community feedback, and weighing other solutions in the ecosystem
- Work with engineering to evaluate and weigh several solutions, such as minor docs improvements, ecosystem partnerships, or large-scale product/feature overhauls
- Clarify our feature design and implementation cycles via problem statements and product requirements
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of experience working in the DevOps/Platform Engineering space, either as a vendor or as an industry practitioner
- 2+ years of experience writing and designing software, including basic UI/UX design. Coder has developers and designers, but feel that these foundational engineering skills make it easier to empathize with our customers and end users.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and EQ
- Self-motivated, with a creative and analytical mindset
- Startup experience
