Product Manager

Coder is hiring a Product Manager to help us methodically define customer problems and work directly with engineering to validate in-product feature enhancements. In our work environment, there will be little abstraction between you, our community, and our technical decision-makers.

What you’ll do here


  • Research and define customer problems via customer calls, support tickets, community feedback, and weighing other solutions in the ecosystem
  • Work with engineering to evaluate and weigh several solutions, such as minor docs improvements, ecosystem partnerships, or large-scale product/feature overhauls
  • Clarify our feature design and implementation cycles via problem statements and product requirements

What we’re looking for


  • 2+ years of experience working in the DevOps/Platform Engineering space, either as a vendor or as an industry practitioner
  • 2+ years of experience writing and designing software, including basic UI/UX design. Coder has developers and designers, but feel that these foundational engineering skills make it easier to empathize with our customers and end users.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and EQ
  • Self-motivated, with a creative and analytical mindset
  • Startup experience

Interview Process 


We believe that the interview process should be consistent and enjoyable. We value your time and hope to get through the interview process in two to three weeks if schedules allow. During this time, you will be able to meet a mix of individual contributors, managers, and leadership.
