Position Summary


Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies and is seeking a talented SharePoint Developer & Business Solutions Architect to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with federal agency clients to design, develop, and maintain innovative business solutions using SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platforms, with a strong focus on Power Apps. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing content and document management, improving the governance framework, and optimizing the user experience across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


SharePoint Development & Design

  • Develop, customize, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, pages, document libraries, lists, and content types
  • Architect information, architecture, and metadata strategies for scalable document managementPermission & Security Management

  • Design and implement a SharePoint permission structure and access control models
  • Ensure compliance with data security policies and best practices for governancePower Apps

  • Lead end-to-end Power Apps development: model-driven, canvas, and component-driven apps
  • Build complex business logic, custom connectors, and reusable component libraries
  • Optimize apps for performance, usability, and maintainabilityPower Automate & Workflow Automation

  • Automate business processes with advanced flows, approvals, and error-handling patterns
  • Integrate Power Automate with SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365, and third-party APIsPower BI Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop interactive dashboards and paginated reports in Power BI
  • Implement data modeling, DAX measures, and row-level security for data-driven insightsMicrosoft Lists & Data Solutions

  • Create structured data solutions using Microsoft Lists, list formatting, and custom rules
  • Integrate Lists with Power Apps and Power Automate for end-to-end solutionsStakeholder Collaboration & Training

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
  • Deliver user training, documentation, and ongoing support for solutionsContinuous Improvement

  • Stay current with SharePoint Online, Power Platforms, and Microsoft 365 innovations
  • Recommend and implement best practices to enhance governance, performance, and user adoption

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field
  • Three (3)+ years of SharePoint Online development, administration, and governance
  • Deep, hands-on experience in Power Apps (canvas, model-driven, component frameworks)
  • Proficiency in Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Lists
  • Strong mastery of SharePoint Framework (SPFx), REST API, and PnP PowerShell
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint permissions, security trimming, and compliance policies
  • Solid understanding of data governance, taxonomy, and retention strategies
  • Excellent communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to lead workshops, requirements sessions, and deliver end-to-end user training.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
  • Ability to obtain a public trust

Preferred Qualification


  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Microsoft certification (e.g., PL-400, PL-600, MS-300, MS-301)
  • Experience leading enterprise-level SharePoint migration and modernization projects.
  • One (1)+ year of VA experience within a Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment.
