Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a
Cloud Engineer to support the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS). The
Cloud Engineer will assist to architect, build, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and solutions for our clients. This individual will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments, implementing infrastructure-as-code solutions, and automating cloud operations. This position offers a unique opportunity for a passionate engineering professional to expand their expertise in leading cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and cutting-edge cloud technologies within a dynamic team delivering innovative solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide critical expertise in all deliverables including to system requirements, Solution Engineering, and System Design Documentation.
- Study complex IT organizations to generate and track requirements across the lifecycle of an organization through road maps, project plans, and collaboration technologies.
- Lead solution engineering, analysis of alternatives, and system design, including database design.
- Discover and report discrepancies between the enterprise architecture, IT strategy, and the system designs, and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Communicate across customer management infrastructure and other stakeholders to educate end users and decision makers on the importance of software development lifecycle documentation and rationale.
- Implements Cloud LZ including:
- Automated deployments with Terraform
- ZT access to environment via CNAP
- Firewalls
- Identity Aware Proxy
- IAM and Single Sign On
- Enterprise Logging / Monitoring (SEAKR)
- Tenant enclave provisioning and config
- Blueprints for tenant workloads
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 12 years minimum of relevant experience.
- US Citizenship required with an active Secret clearance or interim Secret clearance.
