The Military DoD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for Service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects Service members with industry partners in real-world job experiences under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29. Separating Service members can be granted up to 180 days of permissive duty to focus solely on training full-time with approved industry partners.
TQI Solutions has an opening under the DoD SkillBridge Program for a Junior Recruiter at our headquarters in Chesapeake, VA.
Responsibilities:
• Support the recruiting team in all aspects of the recruitment process.• Manage and update job postings using our Applicant Tracking System.• Conduct initial resume screenings and reviews.• Provide regular status updates on candidate progress to recruiting team.• Coordinate and conduct preliminary phone interviews.• Maintain high standards of customer service and time management.• Efficiently handle multiple job requisitions.• Acquire and apply knowledge of technical terminology.• Post job applications on various job sites.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, IT, HR, or a related field, preferred.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Teams).• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Exceptional interpersonal skills.• Confidence in speaking to people by phone and live chat.• Demonstrated empathy and understanding in interactions with candidates.• Strong organizational skills.• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.TQI Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
