We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Accounting & Billing Analyst to join our finance team.
The primary focus of this role will be Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Billing, and managing the systems associated with these functions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Chargebee, Stripe, and Salesforce to manage and streamline financial operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring timely collections. This role will also include managing and coordinating with an outsourced accounting team to ensure high-quality execution of day-to-day finance operations.
This position will report to the VP of Finance & People.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for both B2C and B2B clients using Chargebee and Stripe.
- Oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
- Conduct regular collections activities and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with customer support and sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries.
- Generate and analyze financial reports related to billing and collections.
- Assist with month-end close processes, including revenue recognition and account reconciliation.
- Maintain and update customer records in Salesforce to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with data validation and report generation to support business decisions.
- Manage and provide oversight to an outsourced accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks and promoting continuous improvement in processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 4-5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a B2C or B2B environment.
- Deep expertise in Chargebee, Stripe, and Salesforce is required, including the ability to configure, maintain, and optimize system integrations.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent team player with strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
