Cleared Front-End Developer
Bestgate Engineering is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer with strong React and TypeScript skills to build scalable, accessible web applications. You'll work closely with UX designers and back-end developers to deliver intuitive, responsive user interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain front-end features using React and TypeScript
- Collaborate with UX designers and implement design systems
- Ensure applications meet Section 508 accessibility standards
- Contribute to reusable, scalable solutions across projects
- Document and present technical solutions
Required:
- 6 + years of experience in Software Engineering
- React and general TypeScript/JavaScript experience
- Experience with design systems and user experience principles
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a related technical field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Desired:
- Next.js, TailwindCSS, 508 compliance knowledge
- AWS services, GitLab, Maven, NoSQL/Relational/Object databases
Salary Range:
$190,000 - $225,000*The provided salary range is an approximation based on current market data and may vary. The final offer will be determined after carefully considering the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to the position. This range is intended as a reference point and is subject to change.
