Appian Developer
Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking an Appian Developer. This is a full-time position and hybrid positions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Appian applications including user interfaces, workflows, and reports.
- Integrate Appian solutions with external systems and services.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing to validate application functionality.
- Maintain and enhance existing Appian applications, ensuring their performance and reliability.
- Document technical designs and application specifications for reference and training purposes.
- Stay current with Appian updates and new technologies to continuously improve the development process.
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Appian development.
- Strong understanding of Appian design principles, including process models, interfaces, and reports.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with API integrations and application lifecycle management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Appian Certified Developer certification
