Position Overview


We are looking for a highly skilled Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain our high-pressure waterjet cutting systems and related equipment. This role is customer-facing, dynamic, and critical to ensuring client success and satisfaction. You'll travel extensively to customer sites to resolve issues, provide training, and deliver top-tier technical support.

Key Responsibilities


  • Install, service, and troubleshoot high-pressure waterjet systems and intensifiers
  • Provide hands-on training to customers on equipment use, maintenance, and safety
  • Offer phone/email-based technical support for remote troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Liaise with Engineering and Sales to provide customer feedback and assist in product development
  • Process warranty claims and assist with spare parts replacement
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians for cross-territory support
  • Travel 70%+ of the time to domestic and occasional international customer sites

What You Bring


  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic skills
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and under pressure
  • Strong organizational and computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency required)
  • Commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply technical knowledge in the field

Qualifications


  • Associate’s degree in a technical field required (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous field service or industrial equipment experience strongly preferred
  • Must be willing and able to travel frequently (up to 70%)
