We are a close-knit team dedicated to helping each of our users make a difference.About the RoleAs an Outreach Associate at Leadership Connect, you will be part of a team tasked with making calls to the federal government.
You will be responsible for tracking down names, titles and contact information and keeping meticulous notes. This role is ideal for people naturally comfortable with social interaction, diligent in the pursuit of information, and resilient in the face of challenges.
Core Functions of the Role:
- Engaging with federal agencies to receive updates
- Expressing confidence while conducting cold calls to government organizations
- Emailing and following up on emails to confirm new data
- Organizing and sharing relevant information in written and verbal form as part of a team
- Creating your own workflow to break up the day and communicating issues daily, coming up with ad hoc solutions
About You:
- A focus on data quality, the ability to collect, research and analyze information.
- Comfortable learning and navigating complex organizational structures
- A capacity for liaising effectively with leaders and staff within the government.
- The ability to be trained and to teach, with excellent listening and retention skills.
- Flexibility: comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and able to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of social media, use of the web and Microsoft Office applications.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You are highly organized, have superior time management skills and can perform independently.
- You want to work in a fast-paced environment where you can contribute to the development and implementation of new processes.
- Be creative, a resilient problem-solver! We embrace new ideas.
- A Plus: Knowledge of the US Government, or any experience working within or across government.
