Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions using the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Guidewire Configuration and/or Integration, Java development, and insurance domain knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customize and configure Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) based on business needs.
- Develop integration components using Guidewire’s GOSU language and Java APIs.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Debug and resolve issues across multiple environments.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Contribute to documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience working with Guidewire InsuranceSuite (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, or BillingCenter).
- Proficiency in GOSU, Java, and web services (SOAP/REST).
- Experience with Guidewire configuration (UI, data model, rules) and/or integration (plugins, messaging).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Guidewire certification(s) (e.g., Configuration or Integration Specialist).
- Experience in the P&C insurance industry.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
- Knowledge of SQL and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience with cloud deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
