About this role
The Director, Sales Operationsis a pivotal role within our broader sales organization and is responsible for revolutionizing our deal management processes through the entire lifecycle for all commercial and business development accounts and opportunities. Leveraging your extensive experience in leading Professional Services SOW and Proposal teams, you will establish, baseline, and manage key metrics that drive success for our commercial sales and business development teams, subject matter experts, senior leadership team, and most importantly, our clients.You will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and operational excellence of our deal management processes, ensuring winning deals that align with organizational goals and client needs. Additionally, you will use your passion for teamwork, efficiency, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence to implement innovative tools and processes that enhance team productivity, accelerate deal closure, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As a strategic leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of trust, high performance, and accountability.
What you will do
- Operational Oversight and Leadership: Shape the operational direction and excellence of deal management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client needs
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and coordination with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is comprehensive, accurate, and optimizes business opportunities.
- Resource Development and Management: Develop, establish, and maintain a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to facilitate the creation of high-quality and accurate responses.
- Performance Tracking and Analysis: Implement and manage a robust tracking system for win-loss information and conduct thorough reviews and analyses of RFP losses to recommend enhancements to products or processes.
- Productivity and Efficiency: Use passion for teamwork, efficiency, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence to drive operational improvements
- Operational Decision-Making: Provide valuable input to operational decisions that impact the functional area of responsibility, contributing to the overall direction and success of the organization.
- Sales Process Optimization: Streamline and optimize the sales process, including the implementation and management of necessary sales automation tools and capabilities (e.g., Salesforce), and ensuring the effective use of resulting data.
What you will bring
- At least 8 years working in a sales and/or revenue operations capacity with a focus on proposal writing and RFP/RFI responses
- Expertise with contract management, proposal management, marketing content management tools
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to manage complex sales data and processes.
- Experience working in PowerBI, Tableau or similar data tools
- Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and delivering results within respective timelines, often in the absence of established procedures.
- Proven ability to work effectively under strict time constraints, ensuring timely completion of projects without compromising quality.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also excelling in collaborative environments to coordinate activities, identify efficiencies, and drive process improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to identify solutions and achieve results, addressing challenges proactively and strategically.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in the face of changing priorities and demands.
- Demonstrated success in helping teams achieve business development and sales targets, providing strategic guidance and support to drive growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities, ensuring effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with Salesforce.
Ideally you will also have
- Prior work experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) space
- Experience working with enterprise employer groups.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Loopio RFP management software.
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI technologies within sales operations, including a strong interest in AI advancements and practical experience in creating and training AI models to optimize sales processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Prescryptive is committed to fair pay practices. The projected annual salary for this position is $150K to $185K.
