Role Summary
As a Full Stack Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for guiding a team of developers in the design, implementation, and delivery of scalable, high-performance web applications using React and Python/Django, deployed in AWS. You’ll contribute directly to architectural decisions, mentor team members, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure best practices in both frontend and backend development.This role requires a hands-on leader with deep technical skills, strong communication, and the ability to balance coding responsibilities with team guidance and delivery coordination.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers in the design and delivery of full stack applications
- Contribute to and review system architecture and design decisions
- Guide the implementation of frontend components using React
- Oversee backend development in Python/Django, including API design and database integration
- Collaborate with DevOps to manage cloud infrastructure in AWS
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD best practices
- Act as the main technical point of contact with stakeholders, including product and QA
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment with Agile practices
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in full stack development
- Proven experience leading technical teams or acting as a tech lead
- Expertise in React.js, Python, and Django
- Strong understanding of system architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud deployments
- Experience working with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Nice to Have:
- Background in personalization, e-commerce, or optimization platforms
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience in performance monitoring and tuning of distributed systems
