About the team/role


We are looking for a Pricing Strategy Manager to be an early member of our pricing strategy function.  This is an opportunity to impact our customers, our position in the market, and our P&L.  The ideal candidate is a pricing expert and enthusiast, well versed in pricing best practices.  This person applies structured frameworks, conducts in-depth data analysis and research,  and assembles cross-functional teams to solve large ambiguous problems.  The ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership is a must. 

What you’ll do


  • Pricing Models: Develop data-driven pricing models across multiple new and existing products and customer segments.  Establish volume-based price points.
  • Packaging: Determine the appropriate packaging, bundling, and add-on strategies for across customer segments.  
  • Research: Conduct in-depth market research, deal research, and competitive analysis to inform pricing decisions.  Identify and deliver insights as market dynamics evolve.
  • Pricing Experiments: Design and implement tests to inform broader rollouts.
  • Pricing Analytics: Track and analyze customer purchasing behavior, price elasticity, and other pricing KPIs.  Evaluate pricing performance over time to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Collaborate with product, sales, marketing, finance, analytics, and other teams to deliver on pricing execution.
  • Pricing Infrastructure: Drive proposals to improve pricing automation, intelligence, and tooling.
  • Executive Communication: Prepare comprehensive pricing recommendations for the executive team.

What you bring


  • 8+ years of experience, with at least 4 years of progressive experience in B2B pricing strategy. 
  • Experience with consumption business models or businesses with real COGS, is a plus.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies -pricng & packaging redesigns, new product and market launches, managing product pricing portfolios, navigating changing market dynamics.
  • Expertise in pricing frameworks, research, and testing methods.
  • Strong pricing analytical skills with advanced proficiency in data analysis.
  • Project management experience, working with multiple stakeholders and quick turn times. Ability to keep stakeholders well informed with succinct communication

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion.
