About the role


Finix’s Underwriting Product Manager will be responsible for building new features, working on vendor integrations, and optimizing Finix’s underwriting engine. Finix’s goal is to build a world-class underwriting engine for use internally and externally.

You will


  • Be owning and building products focusing on underwriting, onboarding, and fighting fraud
  • Work with third parties for identity verification, risk monitoring, and other business/individual-related services to support the business goals
  • Provide second-level production support on underwriting and onboarding
  • Build and ship products -- a lot of products, quickly, yet in a highly iterative fashion
  • Build a world-class user experience for underwriters, payment operations managers, and support teams

You are


  • You have experience integrating third-party vendors (ex: identity verification etc, document verification.) or building products for transaction monitoring, risk and fraud mitigation
  • You're highly organized and have the ability to deal with complexity, turning ambiguous inputs into solid action plans
  • You have polished communication skills and are no stranger to working with external parties
  • Beyond just shipping new products, you obsess about continuous product improvement and can optimize for shipping a portfolio of small, medium, and large releases
  • You do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful, no matter how big or small the issue may be.

You have


  • 5+ years experience in a product role
  • Experience managing technical software products from kick-off to ship
  • Degree or background in a technical or quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Sciences, Engineering)
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Financial products experience and familiarity with financial regulations.
