Job Description:


We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our organization as an Alliance Manager and work as part of a collaborative team to drive success. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, independent, and highly flexible within a fast-paced environment. The Alliance Manager will be the primary point of contact between ADARx and its pharmaceutical client partner and will be responsible for ensuring successful program coordination and communication for several collaboration programs.The ideal candidate will be well versed in pharmaceutical drug development activities while also experienced in client relations and alliance management. 

Reporting Relationship:


The Alliance Manager will report directly to the VP, CMC & Program Management.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Interface directly with external partners and clients from program initiation to closeout
  • Provide periodic updates via email, in-person and/or teleconference with regards to project milestones, schedule, budget, and deliverables
  • Investigate and resolve problems, identify root causes, and propose process improvements through clear communication with internal teams
  • Capture and document requirements from external and internal stakeholders
  • Generate program related documentation, including but not limited to timelines, communication templates, status dashboards, tracking tools, presentation decks, and final reports
  • Work with internal subject matter experts to assist in and respond to any partner or client questions and ad hoc requests during the duration of the program
  • Continually work to streamline processes by creating more efficient methods of gathering, sorting and accessing data
  • Interface and develop strong working relationships with all internal subject matter experts across the organization

  • MS or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific discipline; MBA is a plus
  • At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 5 years of dedicated experience in an alliance management or client services function
  • Experience in a regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical setting with proven competency in various aspects of drug development, from preclinical to early-stage clinical development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective presentation of complex scientific data to cross-functional and senior management teams are essential for this role.
  • Understanding of project timelines and deliverables and plans/coordinate project work accordingly with departmental, functional, and external stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards exploring new approaches.
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite Products, Adobe Pro

Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, type and length of experience within the industry, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
  • Total Compensation includes base salary; benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; 401(k) matching program; paid time off; paid holidays; Employee Assistance Program; and other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including but not limited to cash bonuses.
  • Following a conditional offer of employment, satisfactory completion of a background check (including criminal records check) is required prior to beginning employment. Any offer of employment may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information.
