Cognicion LLC, a boutique eDiscovery services and information management provider is actively recruiting a skilled eDiscovery Consultant responsible for the tactical execution of complex eDiscovery projects. The eDiscovery Consultant plays a pivotal role in assisting clients with the identification, collection, preservation, and analysis of electronic data for legal and regulatory matters. This position supports Senior eDiscovery Consultants and managers in providing effective project management, coordinating team resources, assisting with project related tasks, and ensuring high level of client service.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assists management and Sr eDiscovery Consultants with data management activities including, but not limited to, data collection, data processing, hosted production workflows, data analytics, and document review.Coordinates the ongoing training of document review and quality control staff including the communication of document review guidelines, document coding decisions, changes to case review guidelines, and utilization of software applications.Collaborates with the Manager of Managed Review Services in analyzing review quality control statistics, team productivity, and project budget goals. Provides feedback on review team work product, productivity levels, and adherence to best practice standards.Develops, implements, and oversees workflow processes and procedures that meet project specifications and adheres to best practices.Identifies potential document review issues regarding document content. Assists in resolving document coding issues, drafting review guidelines, decision log entries, and other project variables.QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required. Juris Doctorate degree preferred with licensure to practice in any state.
- 3 years’ experience in eDiscovery project management or litigation document Review.
