JOB SUMMARY:
C3 Industries is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Vice President of Marketing to lead all aspects of marketing across our brand portfolio and retail operations. This executive-level role will oversee brand development, retail marketing, digital strategy, customer acquisition, and product positioning, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with our company’s vision and growth goals. JOB DUTIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Bring a cutting-edge vision to the marketing department, and create an efficient organizational structure, processes and KPI’s for the marketing department. Collaborate with C3 Leadership and act as a key stakeholder in the development of C3 Industries’ brand strategy and marketing plan.
  • Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy to elevate brand awareness, drive revenue growth, and strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Lead brand development and management for existing and new product lines across multiple markets.
  • Oversee digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce strategies in compliance with cannabis industry regulations.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Retail teams to optimize go-to-market strategies, promotional campaigns, and retail customer engagement.
  • Manage internal marketing teams and external agencies; set performance goals, KPIs, and budgets.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and product development.
  • Ensure all marketing communications are compliant with applicable cannabis advertising regulations.
  • Monitor cannabis market trends; conduct consumer research and track competitor activities to identify key issues and opportunities.

Extra focus on

High Profile Cannabis Shop (retail)
  • Lead the development of the omni-channel retail marketing strategy to drive traffic, transactions, and customer engagement in all retail channels with marketing initiatives and programs including loyalty, merchandising, sampling, brand communication, product and category navigation, point-of-sale, promotions, and events.
  • Drive recommendations grounded in consumer insight and analysis and contribute to retail product and growth strategies. Represent the voice of the consumer and partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Oversee all aspects of social media strategy, including influencer strategy; regularly evaluate effectiveness.
  • Develop and systemize new retail store openings, including pre-opening, events, local collaborations and other channels to create store and brand awareness.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly oversee the entire Marketing Team. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience and bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • An ideal candidate will have experience working with a vertically integrated retailer in the CPG space or have multi-brand leadership experience.
  • Concrete experience managing complex projects and programs that have heavy dependencies requiring strong leadership to align multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of P&L and how marketing contributes to revenue/profit growth of the business.
  • Strong analytical skills with significant experience in measuring, analyzing and reporting on marketing performance and ROI.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and interpersonal skills; ability to review and interpret concepts and to communicate necessary actions and requests clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, ability to handle a high-volume workload, and changing priorities.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to help your team win.
  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple initiatives through process and roadblocks.
  • Current knowledge on latest cannabis trends and marketing best practices.
