Overview
Wyyerd Fiber is seeking a summer legal intern to work with our Chief Legal Officer and Associate General Counsel on contract-related projects. This includes verifying contractual data and ensuring a companywide adherence to the contractual obligations. You will be interpreting contractual clauses, identifying contract terms and conditions, and capturing the data in our internal systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Review contracts for key terms and pertinent clauses.
- Documenting the contractual rights and obligations.
- Classifies and links legal documents in Wyyerd Fiber’s contract management system.
- Uploading contracts to the appropriate repository according to defined procedures.
- Prioritizes tasks based on immediate and evolving priorities.
- Identifies errors in extracted data and makes appropriate corrections based on provided source documents.
- Works closely with Associate General Counsel to maintain high quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a JD program with excellent academic credentials
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
