GaN is seeking a Systems Integrator will be responsible forintegrating, testing, and implementing solutions between various Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) applications and on-premises networks and cloud platforms.
This role requires a technical background, an understanding ofcybersecurity policies, and the ability to resolve integration challenges within a highly secure environment.Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions, primarily focused on configuring and connecting COTS & GOTS applications within existing infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with application developers, system administrators, Solutions Architects, and cybersecurity teams to ensure seamless and secure integration of systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, with a particular focus on challenges arising from NIST Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) configurations applied across all systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, configurations, and security considerations.
- Conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to ensure data accuracy, system stability, and adherence to security policies.
- Identify areas for improvement and proactively address potential security vulnerabilities.
Skills:
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with API integration concepts (REST, SOAP) is beneficial.
- Solid understanding of networking principles and cybersecurity best practices.
- Demonstrated understanding of security principles and the challenges of integrating systems within a highly secure environment.
- Experience integrating COTS applications such as ServiceNow, data management platforms, modeling platforms, and PLM platforms is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in systems integration.
- CompTIA Security+ CE Certification or equivalent.
- Specific Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect or other operating environment certification)
