We foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and growth, where each person’s contributions make a real impact.JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who will own the secure, reliable, and scalable foundation that powers all of our products. You will design and build platform services—encryption, authentication, service discovery, and cloud gateways—and integrate them with strategic partners such as DocuSign, Plaid, and the major credit reporting agencies.

Working closely with product and application engineering teams, you will ensure deployments are frictionless, observability is deep, and the platform meets the highest security and compliance standards. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  •  Lead the development and maintenance of platform level infrastructure components (encryption services, cloud gateways, utility services). 
  • Manage third party integrations, including DocuSign and Plaid. 
  • Manage credit agency reporting API integrations (Experian, Equifax). 
  • Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of applications on the platform. 
  • Drive the development of service to service authentication, encryption, and service discovery. 
  • Implement and enforce security best practices to protect platform infrastructure and data. 
  • Document platform architecture, processes, and procedures for internal use. 
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve platform capabilities. 
  • Own and improve document rendering services for statements, disclosures, and other customer facing documents.  
  • Maintain and extend the platform rule engine used for dynamic decisioning and configuration.  
  • Manage the messaging capabilities, including transactional email and SMS sending.  
  • Manage the user authentication and authorization framework to support fine grained, role based access control, MFA, SAML/oauth-based SSO. 

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role. 
  • Experience with AWS. 
  • Handson proficiency with Java (Spring Boot) and Python in microservices environments. 
  • Demonstrated experience integrating and securing third party APIs (e.g., DocuSign, Plaid, Experian, Equifax). 
  • Strong familiarity with cryptography, and OAuth/OIDC. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative communication style.
