INVIDI’s testers are self-motivated quick studies, can-do individuals who embrace the challenge of solving difficult and complex problems.About the role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager to lead and manage our 24/7 AdNOC team.
This critical role ensures the smooth operation of our addressable advertising infrastructure, providing continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and support to maintain optimal system performance, security, and reliability. The AdNOC Manager will be responsible for managing a team of AdNOC technicians and engineers, establishing protocols, and maintaining a high level of service excellence in a 24/7 operational environment.This role will be located on-site with our client in Thailand reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Deployment & Support.Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of AdNOC technicians and engineers working in shifts across 24/7 operations.
- Ensure the AdNOC team follows operational procedures, best practices, and company policies.
- Provide performance evaluations, career development, and training opportunities for team members.
- Schedule, coordinate, and ensure appropriate staffing levels to maintain 24/7 AdNOC coverage.
- Network Monitoring & Incident Management:
- Oversee the continuous monitoring of network systems, applications, and infrastructure to identify and resolve performance issues or outages promptly.
- Lead incident response efforts, ensuring swift identification, resolution, and escalation of critical issues.
- Ensure all network and system functionality issues are logged, documented, and followed up through completion, maintaining accurate incident records.
- Develop and enforce escalation procedures to resolve complex system issues quickly and effectively.
- Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:
- Implement and optimize processes for incident management, change management, network monitoring, and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business development, support, and development) to identify and resolve recurring issues.
- Ensure consistent service delivery by managing SLAs and KPIs for network performance, uptime, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for AdNOC activities.
- Performance Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on AdNOC performance, including incident response times, issue resolution rates, and overall system uptime.
- Analyze network and system data and trends to proactively identify potential risks, weaknesses, or opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on network and system health and operational performance.
- Security & Compliance:
- Ensure the AdNOC team is following best practices for network and system security, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of security protocols, and handling security incidents appropriately.
- Collaborate with the security team to monitor and mitigate security risks within the network infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and internal security policies.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact between the AdNOC team and other departments, ensuring smooth coordination during network and/or system incidents or upgrades.
- Maintain strong communication with external vendors, service providers, and partners.
- Effectively communicate network and system status, issues, and resolutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in network operations or network management, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role within a 24/7 NOC environment.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs).
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG) and incident management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, PagerDuty).
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead a diverse, 24/7 team.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and act decisively under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- CCNA, CompTIA Network+, ITIL Foundation, or other relevant certifications.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Physical requirements:
- The position with 24/7 availability. The NOC Manager will be required to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous NOC operations.
- The role may require on-call support during off-hours to handle critical network issues or escalations.
- The position is based in Thailand and remote work options may be available depending on organizational needs.
