The ideal candidate is a creative manager with strong background with agile methodologies and developing innovative strategies to enhance the engineering team’s effectiveness.This position reports to the Vice President of Engineering and will be a hybrid position located in

Portland, Oregon.

As the Software Engineering Manager, your contributions to the team will include:


  • Lead and manage a team of Software Engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship; guide architecture, design, and code quality decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices, tools, and processes.
  • Oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies.
  • Track project progress, risks, and dependencies, and report status to the VP of Engineering.
  • Support production deployments and post-release issue resolution.
  • Drive the adoption and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to increase test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.

What we ask of you:


  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Required: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a management or technical leadership role.
  • Strong coding and system design skills with the ability to contribute to complex technical work.
  • Hands-on experience with modern software development tools, frameworks, and cloud-based architectures.
