If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment where curiosity, trust, and impact matter, you'll fit right inWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Account Receivable and Cash Collection Manager to lead our accounts receivable team and oversee all aspects of the cash collection process.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record in managing teams and optimizing AR and collection functions.

Your mission @Aircall:


  • Lead, manage, and mentor the AR and Cash Collection team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Oversee daily operations, review work, and take full responsibility for team performance and development.
  • Direct all accounts receivable and cash collection activities, including managing the invoice interface to accounting across all legal entities.
  • Ensure customer master data accuracy.
  • Manage the aging balance (AR) and actively work on reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Calculate, control, and analyze doubtful customers, and be part of the doubtful customers accrual reduction process.
  • Fully handle the monthly closing and reporting process for AR.
  • Develop, implement, and refine AR and collection procedures and controls.
  • Analyze and control data consistency within AR systems, suggesting and implementing improvements.
  • Review payment methods (e.g., credit card/direct debit) and associated fees.
  • Participate in or lead projects that impact the accounting and AR functions.
  • Provide insights and analysis on AR performance and collection effectiveness.
  • Organize and lead all audits related to AR, including yearly audits and tax audits across all legal entities.
  • Possess full knowledge and control over all AR related tools. (ZAB, Salesforce, etc)
  • Manage revenue recognition processes.

Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within a multinational fast growing SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated expertise in accounting principles with proven experience managing an Accounts Receivable department and/or leading cash collection functions.
  • Prior experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is highly desirable, with a preference for NetSuite.
  • Experience in an international group, audit, or SaaS (Software as a Service) environment will be considered an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:


  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with excellent data collection, interpretation, and financial computing skills; meticulous attention to detail is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace applications (e.g., Google Docs, Sheets).
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand, navigate, and troubleshoot various IT systems integral to the AR and collections process.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with a proven ability to manage workflows efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) in English, (French is a plus) with the ability to liaise and collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
