Position Summary:
The Community Engagement Manager is responsible for co-developing and supporting the execution of innovative strategies to accelerate growth in our communities where the brand operates retail stores. This role will build out relationship matrices, establish clientele cohorts, prospect, create and implement community enhancing initiatives, including events and charity partnerships, all to deliver new consumers to Greyson’s growing retail footprint and offer existing customers engaging ways to explore the brand further.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Assist in designing and implementing customer acquisition strategies in retail markets.
- Events Calendar: Collaborate with Market Managers on maintaining robust events calendars and community building initiatives tailored to each market, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough research to understand the communities we enter, including demographics, local values, and potential partnership opportunities.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute community events and charity initiatives that resonate with local audiences and enhance brand visibility.
- Revenue Generation: Develop and plan revenue driving events and initiatives to support overall business goals.
- Cross Functional Partnership: Collaborate with the marketing team to align community engagement strategies with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the success of community engagement efforts, utilizing insights to refine strategies and enhance effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, influencers, and community leaders to facilitate partnerships and support initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in community engagement, market activation, Public Relations, or a related role, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful community engagement strategies.
- Strong understanding of the Retail Industry processes and best practices.
- Strong understanding of market research methodologies and community dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
