Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled NGWP - Portfolio Management Specialist to support our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing engineering projects or federal government programs, with a focus on portfolio management, financial analysis, and stakeholder engagement.Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with program leadership to design, develop, and implement strategic initiatives that align with NGWP objectives and federal priorities, ensuring alignment with organizational mission and goals.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance by tracking key metrics, analyzing data trends, and preparing detailed reports to inform decision-making and ensure program success.
- Perform comprehensive financial and budgetary analyses for individual projects and the overall program, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring fiscal accountability.
- Provide project management support to leaders by overseeing project timelines, monitoring progress, and implementing proactive risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
- Review and assess project proposals to ensure they meet program objectives, comply with scope requirements, and contribute to the overall mission of the NGWP.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust systems for collecting, organizing, and analyzing project and program data to support informed decision-making and reporting.
- Act as the primary liaison between the FBI and other government agencies, facilitating effective communication, coordinating interagency efforts, and ensuring alignment on shared objectives.
- Represent the organization in interagency meetings, presenting updates, addressing concerns, and preparing comprehensive summary reports to share insights and outcomes.
- Support the achievement of NGWP goals by tracking progress, documenting accomplishments, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging commercial wireless technologies, preparing detailed reports and recommendations to inform program strategies and technological advancements.
Qualifications:Education:
- PMP or FAC-P/PM certification is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years managing engineering projects or federal government programs.
- Proven experience in:
- Developing and implementing program strategies.
- Tracking and reporting on program performance.
- Project management, including oversight of planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Access.
- Experience managing projects/programs within the commercial wireless technology area is preferred.
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel and Access.

The salary range provided is determined by market value, internal equity, and the candidate's experience and qualifications. Offers will be extended within this range, though not all candidates will receive an offer at the upper limit.
