Work Timing: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST (Standard business hours with flexibility based on leadership needs)

Site Lead – India (Matrix reporting to India HR Lead)
We’re looking for a People & Workplace Experience Specialist to join our growing India team at Banyan Velocity. This is a dynamic, hybrid role that combines executive assistance and office administration responsibilities. As the face of our Chennai office, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and creating a welcoming and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Office Management / Workplace Experience – 70%


  • Coordinate office operations with WeWork (gate passes, seating, branding)
  • Manage courier services and vendor relationships
  • Oversee procurement, invoices, POs, and deliveries
  • Organize employee engagement events and team logistics
  • Support onboarding/offboarding logistics
  • Maintain and update the India office playbook
  • Assist with employee/visitor travel logistics

Reports to:

Site Lead

HR Coordination – 25%


  • Generate reports on leave, attendance, and onboarding/offboarding
  • Validate leave and attendance data
  • Provide HRIS reports to OpCo managers and HQ HR
  • Handle HR documentation and ensure compliance

Reports to:

India HR Lead

Executive Calendar Management – 5%


  • Manage calendar for the Site Lead
  • Schedule meetings with vendors, candidates, new hires, and OpCo leadership

Preferred Skills & Experience:


  • 3–6 years of experience in a similar role supporting senior leaders or India operations, ideally in atech or software engineering firm
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (G-Suite)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Professional, self-starter, collaborative, and problem-solving mindset
