About the job:


We are looking for a Cyber Security Apprentice! As part of the Development, Security, and Operations Team (DevSecOps), you will be reporting directly to a senior cybersecurity engineer. You will work out of our Paris office (Headquarters). Contentsquare provides a SaaS service and commits to the highest security level for its customers. Contentsquare is ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certified and deployed many security initiatives during the last year (SOC 2 Type 2 report, private bug bounty program, security awareness training for all employees, SIEM, etc.).You will work alongside with other cyber security experts to ensure the integrity of Contentsquare’s products and for keeping Contentsquare’s users and customers safe.Ideal Start Date: September 2025 (some flexibility is possible).

Contract: 12-month Apprenticeship Contract.

What you will do:


  • Assisting other DevSecOps team members on the automation, development and implementation of security policies, protocols, and procedures
  • Monitoring and following up on vulnerability resolution actions and provide recommendations
  • Contributing to the investigation of security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents
  • Participating in various types of technical audits: cloud, infrastructure or penetration tests
  • Sharing your knowledge and discoveries with the team
  • Raise user awareness of security best practices and offer training sessions.

What you'll need to succeed:


  • You are currently preparing a minimum of a Bac +3/4 degree in IT, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
  • You are fluent in English, and ideally also in French.
  • You have acquired knowledge in web protocols, security concepts, common types of attacks, Linux/Unix environments, cloud architectures, and the overall threat landscape.
  • You have practiced scripting (e.g., Shell, Python) during your studies or personal projects.
  • You are familiar with development tools such as GitHub, Terraform, ArgoCD, or Ansible.
  • You have a basic understanding of technologies we use: AWS and Azure; Kubernetes / Docker; Google SecOps, Datadog ASM (WAF); NestJS, Vue.js, Angular.
  • You have learned about key cybersecurity concepts and best practices, such as SSH, public key encryption, credential management, certificates, TLS, data encryption, and the OWASP Top 10.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team, but also feel comfortable progressing independently when needed.
  • You are rigorous, curious, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
