As a Renewals Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting MIG’s marketing efforts by managing the renewal process for existing accounts. You’ll play a key role in helping retain business by coordinating with carriers, clients, and internal teams to deliver competitive insurance solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the renewal process for existing MIG clients by gathering required information and coordinating with carriers to provide competitive quotes
- Use MIG tools and carrier portals to manage the renewal lifecycle efficiently
- Communicate with underwriters, finance companies, and internal stakeholders to assemble comprehensive renewal packages
- Monitor and manage a pipeline of upcoming renewals, ensuring accounts are proactively marketed and submitted on time
- Maintain strong relationships with both clients and carrier partners to provide outstanding service throughout the renewal process
- Follow established procedures while using independent judgment to match clients with appropriate insurance products
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Account Management, and other internal departments to ensure a seamless client experience
- Uphold the highest ethical and confidentiality standards
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Risk Management, or related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Previous insurance or transportation industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
