Worth is seeking a Production Print Field Service Technician who is focused and enthusiastic about servicing and repairing a variety of advanced commercial and production printers in addition to other office equipment at various customer locations within a specific geographic area.

Experience with Ricoh, and Xerox is preferred. Responsibilities


  • Deliver high-quality service to clients while managing technical issues and response times according to customer service agreements. 
  • Execute comprehensive maintenance tasks including assembly, diagnostics, software updates, device maintenance and advanced installations.
  • Serve as the customer liaison for assigned equipment, overseeing all service calls and uptime, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. 
  • Leverage advanced problem-solving abilities to diagnose and repair large-scale production equipment.
  • Manages territory, inventory, and customer relationships.
  • Demonstrates excellent technical and customer relation skills.

Job Overview


Demonstrates technical expertise -

  • Performs a full range of service diagnostics and repair. Procedures include diagnostics, installation, removal, and retrofits on assigned equipment with proven senior-level experience working on digital production print equipment or similar products.
  • Performs Basic Connected installations, sets up IP addresses, downloads printer drivers and provides customer training on printing functions.
  • Fiery experience needed for this role. 
  • Demonstrates required digital competencies associated with assigned products and level assignment.
  • Completes technical training on new equipment as assigned.

Manages territory -

  • Effectively executes all required territory management and call handling procedures.
  • Maintains and manages own parts inventory with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Adheres to territory back-up plans.
  • Completes all required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Complies will all company policies.
  • Responsible for maintaining a "car stock" inventory with a value of $1,000 to $5,000.

Customer Service -

  • Interacts with external customers for the purpose of determining service needs on equipment and ensuring overall high level of customer satisfaction with the service performed.
  • Provides technical assistance to less experienced technicians.
  • Exhibits professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Maintains productive, professional relationships with all company personnel.
  • Is a positive and contributing team member.

Qualifications


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires journeyman level technical knowledge typically gained through completion of technical school and 2+ years of related experience.
  • Requires a valid state driver’s license and minimum level of auto insurance coverage per KOS policy for positions entailing extensive use of personal car while on company business. Company vehicle(s) are available for eligible employees.
