Account Manager – Lyra Technology Group
Lyra Technology Group is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing sales team in Naperville, IL with our OpCo, Outsource IT Solutions Group (OSG). In this client-facing role, you’ll be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships within an assigned portfolio of existing clients, while driving revenue growth through proactive engagement, solution selling, and strategic account management. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying opportunities, solving problems, and aligning our IT solutions with their business needs.
From sales meetings and proposal writing to quarterly business reviews (QBRs), you’ll own the full account lifecycle with the support of our service and technical teams.

OSG is a full-service IT consulting, networking, and IT solutions firm serving customers in Naperville, Aurora, and Chicagoland since 1998.
Your work as an Account Manager will include the following duties:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts. Act as a liaison and advocate for clients within the organization.
- Sales Growth: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding client needs and introducing relevant OSG solutions.
- Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs): Prepare and lead QBRs using the OSG-approved format. Review project status, lifecycle assessments, and risk/opportunity analyses.
- Proposal & SOW Development: Collaborate with the service team to scope, write, and deliver proposals and statements of work (SOWs).
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the OSG CRM. Log all calls, tasks, follow-ups, and activity in real-time.
- Customer Advocacy: Manage escalations, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure timely, effective resolution of client issues.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in company meetings, contribute to marketing and social media efforts, and support broader business development initiatives.
Our ideal Account Manager has the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience (MSP or IT services industry experience strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to manage B2B relationships and drive client retention and expansion
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
