Position Summary
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health agencies, seeks a Program Manager to lead federal financial management consulting engagements. This position will support the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the implementation of project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables for client engagements.
- Provide subject matter expertise and direction to teams providing professional operational support services to federal financial management leaders and staff.
- Collaborate with clients to deploy staff who are providing data analytics, financial management, resource management, financial training and policy, payment operations, and financial system deployment support services (in a non-inherently government role).
- Work closely with teams, including subcontractors, to assist clients in addressing complex, multi-faceted, and interrelated issues to expedite and improve federal financial management functions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Six (6) years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency
- Proven track record of managing complex projects in a federal environment.
- Must have basic typing and computer skills
- Must be able to read, understand, speak, and write English fluently
- Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
- Ability to obtain a public trust
Preferred Qualification
- Experience with supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal health systems
- Experience implementing or using ERP or financial systems, including Mometum
