Summary of the Role
We are seeking a Staff Accountant with a focus on outsourced accounting and tax services to work on-site in our Richmond office. Our Client Accounting & Advisory Services Team provides full-service accounting support, tax preparation (including state and local tax services), consulting on accounting software, and strategic advisory services for small-to-medium sized companies across a variety of industries. You will have immediate client contact, playing a key role in building strong relationships while delivering high-quality services.

Requirements
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of industry-related experience required, preferably in a professional services or public accounting firm
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required
Education
- Degree in Accounting required
Skills and Abilities
- Proactive, clear and effective communication (both written and oral).
- Strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and tax principles
- Proficiency with other cloud-based accounting technology and Microsoft Office products
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering quality work
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- A desire for continuous professional growth and development
