ARETUM, a prominent government contracting firm known for its technology-enabled mission support services, is on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Proposal Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full proposal lifecycle, from the identification of RFP opportunities through to submission.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights for proposal content and structure.
- Oversee the drafting, editing, and finalization of all proposal materials to ensure clarity, responsiveness, and compliance.
- Develop and implement a proposal strategy that leverages ARETUM's strengths and capabilities to maximize win potential.
- Conduct reviews of proposal drafts and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Establish and maintain timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met throughout the proposal process.
- Facilitate lessons learned sessions for continuous improvement of the proposal development process.
- Build and maintain a repository of standard content, templates, and best practices for proposal development.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to enhance proposal quality and relevance.
- Monitor proposal trends and new regulations to ensure compliance in submissions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- BS (Preferred), in English, Journalism, Liberal Arts, or a related field, along with 10+ years of experience in proposal management.
- Proven track record in managing government proposals, ideally with at least five years in a senior or leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of Federal contracting processes and requirements.
- Excellent skills in written and oral communication, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other proposal management software.
- Experience with the Shipley proposal process or similar methodologies.
