Learn more about our offices here.As a Customer Account Representative (CAR), you’ll support our Customer Account Managers (CAMs) in expanding existing customer relationships. You’ll run light-touch, value-driven plays—like account reconciliation packages, simple add-ons, and upgrade path conversations—while learning how to drive larger strategic expansions. It’s an ideal next step for high-potential BDRs or CSMs ready to sharpen their commercial skills and grow into a quota-carrying CAM role.
What You Will Do
- Own and close smaller-scale expansion plays—simple user pack upgrades, basic add-on modules, and pre-scoped account reconciliation packages.
- Support CAMs with account planning, pipeline hygiene, proposal generation, and meeting prep for key customer conversations.
- Prospect inside the base to identify new contacts, usage gaps, or cross-sell opportunities using Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Partner with Customer Success to surface expansion-ready accounts and ensure smooth handoffs when value-add offers are made.
- Build commercial fluency by shadowing full-cycle sales calls, helping develop proposals, and tracking performance metrics.
- Contribute to forecast accuracy by maintaining clean opportunity data, close dates, and next steps in Salesforce.
- Act as a product champion—develop a working knowledge of Prophix solutions and how they align to common finance challenges.
What You Will Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of experience, technology skills, personal qualities, and education.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing role (BDR, SDR, CSM, Account Coordinator, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to confidently engage finance users and buyers.
- Coachable, curious, and eager to learn value-based selling and commercial best practices.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and modern RevTech tools (Gong, Outreach, Sales Nav) is a plus.
- Driven by customer value and motivated by growth—yours and theirs.
- Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with finance buyers or in a SaaS/software environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
