About the role:
Netskope is looking for an experienced Partner Rebates and Billing Analyst to join the finance team in the Philippines. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Partner Rebates and Billing Analyst will ensure accurate and timely billing practices, particularly focusing on rebates for partners.
Shift:
Manila-based NIGHT SHIFT aligned with PST hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
Responsibilities
- Review partner agreements to extract and maintain rebate terms and conditions.
- Calculate monthly and quarterly rebate accruals; collaborate with Sales to request Purchase Orders.
- Prepare monthly journal entries to amortize rebates against commissions.
- Reconcile partner rebate balance sheet accounts and prepare short-term and long-term entries.
- Partner with Sales and Channel teams to ensure alignment on rebate eligibility and performance.
- Analyze rebate data and present findings to Sales and Executive leadership.
- Track partner rebate percentages and related sales performance metrics.
- Manage all relationships for marketplace-related programs, including billing and collections.
- Review and validate sales orders, customer contracts, and POs in the billing system.
- Generate customer invoices with accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Calculate complex billing amounts and adjustments, process invoices, credit memos, and debit memos.
- Maintain multi-year billing schedules and validate the monthly committed billing reports accurately.
- Generate month-end and quarter-end reporting packages.
- Support quarterly reviews and year-end audits by fulfilling external auditor requests.
- Reconcile Salesforce bookings with sales orders and billings.
- Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation for internal controls around the Order-to-Cash cycle and participate in SOX testing as needed.
- Support additional projects and tasks assigned.
Requirements
- 5 years of progressive experience in Revenue Operations, AR, Financial Analysis, and Partner Rebates Programs
- Related experience in the software industry
- Proficiency in Excel, experience with Salesforce and NetSuite or subscription billing platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, Organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently, performing a variety of tasks under general supervision.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field required.
