This internship will help you acquire energy markets and US-renewable project proficiency by participating in key commercial and power marketing initiatives and live Projects that will positively impact SBE’s corporate value as well as serving the energy needs of the communities they are operating in. You will gain broad experience in the renewable energy space and should be prepared to enter a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Support on utility and corporate request for proposals (RFPs) for various mid to late-stage renewable and battery projects throughout the US.
- Support on solar and battery storage project economics, data processing and RFP support preparation.
- Learn about PV+BESS revenue forecasting and become proficient in structured modeling.
- Support market fundamental price curve analysis and reporting.
- Report to Redwood City or Denver office.
Skills And Experience
- Background in related field of study: science, engineering, sustainability.
- Strong skills in MS Excel (coding, macro building, etc) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Prior experience in the energy markets is preferred but not necessary. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about learning about this industry.
