Role Summary
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be part of a highly skilled engineering team building scalable and reliable backend services. You will be responsible for developing new features, improving system performance, and ensuring backend components are secure, well-tested, and maintainable.This position requires strong technical expertise in Golang and Java, solid understanding of RESTful API development, and good troubleshooting skills. You’ll collaborate with product owners, QA engineers, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang and Java
- Build and test RESTful APIs that support scalable business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver backend solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and apply best practices in backend development
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and staging environments
- Support CI/CD efforts and maintain service reliability
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Golang
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Java
- 3–5 years of experience with SQL and database design
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, JMeter, or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English (international team collaboration)
Preferred:
- 3–5 years of experience in Omni Channel / Retail domains
- 3–5 years of Production Support experience
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
