Magnopus Internship Info
Magnopus’ Summer Internship Program is a part-time paid experience that is designed to give students the opportunity to work on cutting-edge experiences. In this program, you will be given the chance to work alongside some of the most ambitious and diverse groups of individuals you will ever meet. Some highlights from last year’s internship program include:- Mentorship by industry veterans through working on cutting-edge projects in association with some of the biggest companies in the world.
- Participation in our Intern Speaker Series where senior staff members discussed their career paths and held a Q&A session.
- A resume and professional networking workshop hosted by Magnopus' Recruiting Team.
- Several bonding activities including lunches, trivia, and more!
As an Art intern, you may work in the following roles: 3D Artist (Environment Artist), Concept Artist (Characters, Environment)
Must Haves
- Currently enrolled in a BA or MA program majoring in Fine Arts, Game Art, Visual Art, or Studio Arts
- Experience with Maya (preferred), Blender, or MaxExperience working with Unreal Engine 5 (or Unity )
- Experience with Photoshop
- A passion for tackling new challenges
- A broad base of artistic and technical knowledge
- Solid communication skills
- Interest in working with artists with different backgrounds and specialties
- Portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for artistic and technical direction
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled Undergraduate and Graduate students
- Recent graduates within one year of graduation
- Able to work in LA and be able to secure housing accommodations (Magnopus is not offering relocation assistance at this time)
- Available for approximately 10 weeks from June through August
- Authorized to work in the US
- Passion for VR, AR, Media and Entertainment
Targeted Majors: Game Art, Computer Animation, Entertainment Design, Virtual Reality Development, 3D ArtPrior AR/VR or Entertainment internship or experience a plus.It is required that you submit a portfolio/presentation of your work with your application. You may do so by providing a link to an online presentation, or attaching documents to your resume. All presentations must contain a detailed breakdown of the work. It must be very clear what you, the applicant, manage.

Magnopus is an Experience Company forging art, science, and technology to create new experiences across virtual reality, augmented reality, and good ol' fashioned reality reality.
