Graduate Product Test Engineer

We are actively seeking a Graduate Product Test Engineer based in East Kilbride, who will report to the Test Development Manager. Responsibilities:

  • Develop test plans, taking inputs from key stakeholders
  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of engineering projects.
  • Debug complex software and provide clear documentation and communications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project goals.
  • Participate in team meetings and present findings or progress.
  • Maintain documentation and reports for various engineering activities.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements and best practices.

Requirements are:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Must be eligible and authorised to work in the UK.
  • As a graduate engineer trainee, you will undergo extensive training and gain hands-on experience in various engineering projects. You will work closely with senior engineers, learn about semiconductor industry practices, and contribute to innovative solutions within the company.
  • Able to work tight and variable time scales.
  • Self-starter and ability to plan and manage own workload.
  • Flexibility to travel to Kandou’s offices, supplier and customer locations.
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills with excellent numerical ability.
  • An innovative, creative, lateral thinking problem solver.
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills.
  • Programming languages (e.g., Python, C++).
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
