Senior Paid Media Manager

PaddleLondon, United KingdomRemote, Onsite

What do we do?

Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better. We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 5000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

The Role:

As a Senior Paid Media Manager, you will play a critical role in improving the ROI and performance of our paid digital campaigns. You'll focus on optimizing campaigns that support our self-serve and sales initiatives. Using analytics and performance data, you'll ensure our digital campaigns drive demand, perform effectively, and contribute to revenue growth. As part of our global Demand Generation team, you'll work closely with product marketing, content, campaigns, and sales teams to enhance our paid media strategy through data-driven insights and campaign management.

What you'll do:

  • Lead strategic planning, execution, and optimisation of paid media campaigns to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and customer acquisition.
  • Develop comprehensive paid media plans aligned with business goals, marketing initiatives, and integrated campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Campaigns, Creative, Brand, Content, Sales, and Operations—to ensure message cohesion and funnel performance tracking.
  • Support regional sales teams with campaign creation and optimisation. Align campaigns with performance targets to accelerate the sales pipeline and increase revenue. Monitor regional campaigns and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyse campaign effectiveness. Recommend budget reallocation to high-performing campaigns and channels while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities in current paid channels and campaigns and develop action plans to enhance overall performance.
  • Monitor key performance metrics (leads, MQLs, SQLs, signups, go-lives, pipeline, and revenue) and provide regular stakeholder reports with actionable insights.
  • Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to maintain Paddle's leadership in paid media innovation.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Sales teams to conduct A/B tests, determining the most effective messaging, creative, and targeting strategies for each campaign.

We'd love to hear from you:

  • You have proven success in scaling paid media channels, driving measurable growth and elevating demand generation, actively finding ways and making asks to senior leaders.
  • You excel in fast-paced environments, ideally from a SaaS background, understanding the big picture while aligning paid media strategy with business objectives.
  • You skillfully translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders who aren't deeply familiar with paid media.
  • You maintain a sharp focus on ROI, making data-driven decisions while ensuring precision in every campaign.
  • You build cohesive campaigns by effectively bringing teams together.
  • You stay current with digital marketing trends, paid media practices, and emerging technologies.

Skills:

  • 6+ years managing B2B paid media campaigns
  • Experience leading campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and programmatic display
  • Track record managing $1M+ annual budgets efficiently
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to campaign optimization
  • Experience with ABM strategies: Proven track record of integrating paid media into account-based marketing to engage high-value accounts and deliver personalized campaigns.
  • Familiarity with attribution models, lead scoring, and marketing funnel strategies.
  • Strong communication skills

Life at Paddle

Our mission is to help software companies succeed - enabling them to focus on creating products the world loves. Hundreds of companies rely on our e-commerce platform to sell their software products globally, as well as our powerful analytics and marketing tools to understand and grow their businesses. Our vision is to become the platform that all software companies use to run and grow their business. We aim to replace a fragmented ecosystem of specialised tools with a unified platform that removes the complex burden that comes with running a software business, whilst also providing unparalleled insight to help them grow faster. We're early in our journey but making great progress: Deloitte Fast 50 named us the fastest growing software company in the UK (we've tripled revenue every year since our launch in 2012), and we've raised over $17m in funding from incredible investors such as Notion, BGF and Kindred.
