Job Description – Quality Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
- Identifies appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate; parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Identify test scenarios and develop test cases for functional, regression and user acceptance based on the test scenarios aligned with business requirements.
- Conducts extensive end to end testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines.
- Debug logs, recreates error codes, identify edge case scenarios and report bugs.
- Collaboration with developers and business owners while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates.
- Create and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a QA role for software projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Dashboards for issue tracking in agile sprint management.
- Experience with Xray for test case design, execution, and linking test outcomes to requirements.
- Knowledge of API Testing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and business team members.
- Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and demonstrated professionalism.
- Self-motivated and able to work both in a team and independently.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Highly responsive to requested needs.
- Ability to work with confidential and proprietary information using utmost discretion.
