How You Contribute to Pinnacle Transplant’s Success


The Quality Control Packaging (QCP) Associate is responsible for performance and verification of final labeling and packaging of allografts intended for distribution to surgeons for use in implantation procedures. Quality Control Packaging associates are knowledgeable of required package inserts, required labeling, and required packaging across multiple product lines and customers. Quality Control Packaging associates meticulously review all finalized allografts for these requirements, and alert area leadership when a graft’s final labelling and packaging is out of expected compliance.

Quality Control Packaging associates stage finalized allografts for release by the Quality Control Release team.

Work hours:


 Friday – Sunday; 6:00 am – 6:30 pm (Training is on the same schedule)

 Office Environment with some interaction within Manufacturing

Location:


 North Phoenix, near 19th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road

Pay Rate:


 $20.00/hour + 11% Shift Differential 

What You Will Do


Level 1 Quality Control Packaging Associate


  • Performance of assigned allograft packaging and verification duties.
  • Proficiency in understanding and management of all Instructions for Use (IFU), tissue transplant records, final labeling, and the selection of appropriate outer cartons. 
  • Accuracy in completion of QCP documentation and records. 
  • Competence in system transactions in QC Packaging and knowledgeable in electronic applications/ necessary information for performing daily tasks.
  • Completion of all required training within expected due dates. 
  • Ensure that SOPs are followed and are aligned with quality standards. 
  • Adhere to PTT values (People, Integrity, Teamwork, Accountability, Continuous Improvement) establishing and displaying collaboration and respectful interactions with all associates. 
  • Comply with all applicable OSHA, FDA, cGMP, cGTP, AATB, and PTT Quality Management System (QMS) regulations and standards. 
  • Support/maintain 5S practices and standards in personal and shared work areas. 
  • Learn and apply some lean principles to improve QC Packaging area. 
  • Other duties as assigned by department leadership.

  • Your Supervisor. You will have daily verbal and written communication with your Supervisor to ensure goals are understood and executed with speed and quality.
  • Your Team. Regularly work in independent and team settings maintaining professional communication with all PTT team members.

 Where You Will Work


  • Full Time position (40 hours or more) based in Arizona.  Hours may include evenings and weekends to perform tasks outlined in the job description.
  • Duties are such that there will be contact with human tissue and bone which may be considered infectious; use of PPE is required in all work areas.
  • Position may work in a clean room environment where protective clothing such as hoods, face masks, gloves, boots, and coveralls are required.
  • Position will require exposure to dry ice and ultra-cold freezer temperatures, inclusive of packaging frozen allografts.
  • Position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. May occasionally lift or move items over 15+ pounds.
