has partnered with a niche Property Management group that is seeking to add aSenior Property/Corporate Accountantto their established team.Overview:

Prepare and/or oversee company accounting functions.
Direct the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers.
Perform monthly financial statement closes.
Oversee bi-monthly check run, commit, and pay ACH payables.
Prepare and file quarterly sales tax, quarterly lending report.
Prepare financial analysis and reports, cost analysis and rate studies.
Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
4+ years of experience in property accounting.
Yardi experience is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Suite and Excel spreadsheets or related accounting software.
