The
Senior Manager, Amazon role will be responsible for aligning the company strategy and direction with the goals of the retail partner. They are responsible for leading the day to day management of the account including: creating plans to meet sales and profitability targets, managing buyer communication, promotional planning and execution, resolving operational challenges and identifying opportunities to further build the account.They are also involved in planning and executing long term strategic initiatives and leading efforts internally to ensure cross functional teams have the information they need to support the account.
This position reports to the Director, Amazon & Marketplace Accounts as a part of the Channel Sales team.
Essential job functions:
- Deliver financial plans, analyzing business to offer insights, recommendations and action plans to support achievement of revenue and profit growth targets.
- Align business plans, including strategic pricing agreements, marketing plans, category management, innovation, and promotional activity with partners.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with the buying and advertising teams of channel partners.
- Manage new item set up and consumer experience following best in class examples (i.e. set up sheets, above and below the fold content, videos, reviews, etc.).
- Track competition, category trends and other retail sites, to implement growth strategies.
- Manage marketing/advertising activities working with media, marketing and/or advertising teams of partners to build and launch successful sales programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners within the Marketing, Merchandising, Pricing, Supply Chain and other SimpleTire functions.
- Create sales presentations
- Account negotiations
- Lead meetings both internally and externally
- Develop monthly sales and demand forecasts.
Other Duties as assignedBase Pay Range: $125,000 - $150,000/annually
Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
- 2+ Years of Walmart, Club or Amazon direct fulfillment account management experience
- Degree Minimum: Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Auto experience highly preferred
- Must have experience with the following: Retail Link, Item 360 and/or Vendor Central
- Computer software proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- General knowledge of P&L Statements
- A demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding goals
