Associate Technical Product Manager


Base Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000/annually

Position Overview


The Associate Technical Product Manager, a fully remote position within a dynamic team, reports to the Technical Product Manager and is tasked with facilitating the product lifecycle, from conceptualization through deployment, by collaborating with engineering to convert business needs into technical specifications. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical product management, the Associate Technical Product Manager will contribute to key initiatives that enhance operational efficiencies in supply chain management, partner integrations and multi-tenant solutions.

Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in cross-functional collaboration, initiative, clear communication, and data-driven prioritization.

Essential job functions:


  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis on product metrics and user feedback to guide product roadmap development and prioritization.
  • Generate detailed product specifications and execute thorough impact assessments for strategic prioritization.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts within an agile framework, partnering with engineering, design, and support teams to ensure seamless product launch and lifecycle management.
  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies and UAT phases with expertise in SDLC and project management methodologies.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of technical solutions for supply chain optimization, including API integrations and FTP/EDI data exchanges.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on business processes, providing guidance to engineering teams to develop operationally efficient applications and integrations.
  • Maintain a current understanding of industry trends and best practices in technical product management and data analysis.

Qualifications


Minimum Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical product management or a related field.
  • 1-2 years' experience with API integrations and FTP data transfer related projects
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization tools, such as Sigma Computing, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or ecommerce is preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required


  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in using Sigma Computing, Power BI, or Tableau to create visually appealing and informative reports.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation and requirements gathering.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technical product management and data analysis.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort


  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Talking through the computer for many meetings and one-to-one conversations.
  • Continuous viewing of a computer monitor and data entry.
  • Travel as necessary (<10%).
